Acupuncture is an invasive technique. Even for demonstration or self-care purposes, strict safety protocols must be followed. The following groups are advised to refrain from joining, or should provide professional evaluation before enrollment:
- Pregnant or conceiving women
- Individuals with bleeding disorders or on anticoagulants
- Patients with severe cardiovascular conditions
- Those with skin infections, ulcers, or lesions
- Individuals with unstable mental conditions / severe psychiatric history
- People with severe needle phobia or fainting tendencies
- Children under 12 years or those with significant mobility difficulties
Safety Statement
Participants must sign a health declaration before attending, confirming no major illnesses or special constitutions. If necessary, a medical certificate stating “fit for acupuncture learning” may be required. The organizer reserves the right of final approval to safeguard all participants.
